FCPS Parents for Intentional Technology was formed in December 2025 as a response to the rapidly changing exposure to technology faced by our children in our school district and at home. 

Our current top priorities are the following,

1. Tech advisory committee made up of parents teachers and teachers

2. Elimination of 1:1 devices for youngest learners, K-2

3. Assessment of effectiveness of devices and EdTech

4. Allow-listing of approved websites for students - grade by grade

5. Ability to opt-out of 1:1 in the meantime
